Maupin – Workshop 2

by Margo MacDonald
Dramaturgy by Mary Ellis

With Tamara Freeman, Richard Gélinas, Rebecca Russell and Kate Werneburg

It’s 17th-century Paris and Julie d’Aubigny Maupin is the talk of the town. Publicly, she’s a titillating scandal: a cross-dressing swordfighter, opera singer, duellist, and bi-sexual seductress. Privately, she battles with demons she cannot name and rejects all that’s expected of her as she seeks to find herself.

Friday June 7, 2019 at 5 pm – Arts Court Theatre
